If you are caring for a family member age 60 or older, or are a grandparent 60 or older caring for a family member under 18 years of age, you may be eligible for services offered free-of-charge by the Family Caregiver Support Program including:

Specialized advice, information and referrals to available services in your community

Caregiver education and training

Support groups

Respite care (30 hours/year) options include adult day care, or private In-Home care.

Annual caregiver retreat with respite services
The program also provides for the purchase of supplemental services on a limited basis including:

Minor home modifications or assistive devices that help caregiver accommodate illness or handicap.
Family caregivers are part of a rapidly growing, very large group of people who can support and learn from each other. Using the support groups, information and respite services offered through the Family Caregiver Support Program, caregivers are able to better care for themselves, and by doing so, improve the quality and availability of care for their family members.
