Older Americans Month

Stanislaus County Area Agency on Aging is reporting many community events to highlight Older Americans Month throughout Stanislaus County.

1. May 1^st - Senior Information Day

   10th Street Plaza – Modesto The Info-Van from the Area Agency on Aging will be at the 10th Street Plaza in Modesto, May 1^st, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Note: This is primarily an Outreach to City/County employees and visitors at 10th Street place.

2. May 17^th - A Walk in the Park (Graceada Park)

   Modesto Catholic Charities and the Ombudsman Program will be sponsoring ‘A Walk in Graceada Park’, 401 Needham St., Modesto, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., to highlight agencies and programs that are available to assist seniors from throughout Stanislaus County. Especially welcome will be seniors and caregivers from the various ethnic groups that contribute to the wonderful diversity of the county. For information call Pat Fantazia (209) 529-3784.
