The Healthy Aging Association is a non-profit public benefit corporation.
The specific services we provide are fitness instruction, health, and nutrition education to adults 50 years and older, and persons with disabilities.
Our fitness classes are called "Young at Heart". All classes are free to adults 50 or older, or persons with disabilities, unless otherwise stated.
In Stanislaus County, we offer 25 free fitness classes that focus on strength, flexibility and balance. We also have on-going aerobics and Tai Chi classes. Home videos of the program are available for purchase.
Healthy Aging Association Co-Sponsors the Healthy Aging Summit. A free event for those 50 years of age or older. Free Health screenings including bone density test, diabetes screening, cholesterol test, stroke screening and much more... This event is held every October at the downtown Modesto Center Plaza. Call the number below for current information.
The Healthy Aging Association participates in the “Eat Better, Move Better” SNAP-Ed supplemental food program for low income senior citizens. For information go to the Healthy Aging web site www.healthyagingassociation.org.
