The Healthy Aging Association is a non-profit public benefit corporation.

The specific services we provide are fitness instruction, health, and nutrition education to adults 50 years and older.

Our fitness classes are called “Young at Heart”. All classes are free to adults 50 or older, unless otherwise stated.

  • In Stanislaus County, we offer free strength /resistance and balance training classes called “Young At Heart”. We’ve recently expanded into San Joaquin County with 3 locations; one in Escalon and two in Ripon.
  • We also have 2 on-going aerobics classes, one at Gold’s Gym on Dale Road, and the other at the Modesto Senior Center
  • Young At Heart cable T.V. program is re-run weekly on Charter and Comcast cable. Home videos of the program are available for purchase.
  • Started a pilot program offering Qi Gong and Ti Chi at the Modesto Senior Center.
  • Offer Fall prevention “No More Falls” presentations .
  • Co-Sponsor “Healthy Aging Summit” (PDF format). A free event for those 50 years of age or older. Free Health screenings including bone density test, diabetes screening, cholesterol test, stroke screening and much more... This years event is planned for Friday, October 13th from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the downtown Modesto Center Plaza.
