Assisted transportation for adults 60 or older. Door to door service for those that have difficulty with fixed route or Dial a Ride service. Medical Appointments given priority- reservations required. No fee for services but donations appreciated.

Dial - A - Ride: a specialized transportation service for persons with disabilities, and people 65 and older.

Services vary by City:

"Did you know that the Shuttle, Runabout or Dial-A-Ride can pick you up at your home and drop you off for Medical / Dental Appointments, Shopping, or Visits to Family and Friends."

Free Mobility Training Available: Individualized ride planning and ride along assistance to help you learn how to use and feel comfortable with public transportation.

Fixed route services are often more affordable but often older or disabled adults have reservations about taking a bus or even Dial-a- ride service. The Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTA) of Stanislaus County offers free travel or mobility training.
